Our clients are on a Hero's Journey managing their existential difficulties through COVID-19 during social unrest and environmental challenges. The workshop will  address: interpersonal neurobiology, stages of change, hero’s journey of Joseph  Campbell and the social unconscious to better understand how to navigate the internal and external (environmental) dynamics affecting our client's change process. Meets Cultural Competency CE requirement.

Examine popular stories such as One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Wizard of OZ and TV shows such as In Treatment to illustrate problems and guidelines on how to make ethical decisions. Meets Law and Ethics CE requirement.

Examine the stages and skills of mentoring as demonstrated by best practices in the supervisory/mentoring relationship. Meets Supervision and/or Ethics CE requirements.

How to flexibly integrate the the 12 Hero's Journey Stages, 12 common Archetypes with Stages of Change and Interpersonal Neurobiology in therapy. Meets Cultural Competency CE requirement.

Explore Adult ADD/ADHD through the lens of interpersonal neurobiology. Examine the changes in the DSM-5 with a focus on assessment, delineating co-occuring diagnoses, and effective treatment skills.
