About Greg Crosby

Greg Crosby, M.A., LPC, ICGP, AGPA-F, is a national and international trainer for Mental Health Therapists. His has provided trainings for community mental health centers, early intervention programs, college counseling centers, managed care organizations, residential treatment, drug and alcohol settings, actors and entertainment industry, employment assistance programs for attorneys and educators, correction facilities and psychiatric outpatient programs.

Internationally, he is conducting Integrative CBT trainings and video seminars for China Institute of Psychology in Beijing and Suzhou, China.  He is also leading workshops in Adult ADHD, Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey and Integrative CBT for the Egyptian Group Psychotherapy Association in Cairo, Egypt.

Greg has a private practice in clinical supervision, adult ADHD and life transitions. With Jim Sabin MD, Greg authored “A Planning Checklist for Establishing Time Limited Groups” in Psychiatric Services. With Donald Altman, M.A., LPC, Greg authored “Integrated Group CBT” in Handbook of Group Psychotherapy. Greg has published numerous other articles and manuals, with a focus on group therapy. He recently co-authored the book Transforming ADHD with co-author Tonya Lippert.

Greg formerly taught as an adjunct at Marylhurst University in multiple departments in undergraduate and graduate school.  He has led workshops for the Trauma Certificate and the Interpersonal Neurobiology Certificate Programs at Portland State University. He also teaches in the Art Therapy Counseling Program at Lewis and Clark College.

For 25 years, Greg was the Clinical Regional Coordinator of Group Therapy at Kaiser Permanente in Oregon and Washington. He is a Fellow in the Group Psychotherapy Association and has been on the International Board of Certified Group Psychotherapists since 1997. He has been teaching in colleges and universities since 1981 and providing national training since 1974 and international training since 1989.

In his trainings, Greg integrates individual, family and group therapy approaches. He brings a holistic view of change that is practical, engaging and easy to adapt into a wide variety of settings and cultures. Greg brings a synthesis of therapeutic models together in his therapy, training and consulting and is known for entertaining audio-visual presentations that blend exercises, lectures, discussions and demonstrations.
