Description of Training:

The workshop will examine an integrative perspective of suicide prevention/ assessment and treatment planning through the lens of psychology/sociology/anthropology, myths and stories.  A focus will be on a collaborative suicide assessment and how to implement strength based interventions to reduce suicidality. We will also address the importance of self-care of the clinician. The workshop will focus on how to find resilience when we face difficult moments in our clients and our own stories. Meets Suicide Risk Assessment, Treatment, and Management CE requirement.
