DESCRIPTION:Description of Training: \nWe will explore the challenges and joys of supervision/mentoring through story telling in movies\, In Treatment TV series and stories. The workshop will examine the stages and skills of mentoring delineated in Homer’s Odyssey and now demonstrated in the best practices in the supervisory relationship. We will examine bio/psycho social model for case supervision and a visual case formulation model. In addition we will attend to scope of practice\, minimizing risk and liability and the appropriate place of inner work and its role in supervision for supervisor and supervisee.
